We are pretty lucky in a way

Human is generally short sighted in way that they only live 100 years or less. One Dynasty would seem to be forever. Most of my friends have been this world for 20 years. What a LUCKY 20 years. The cold war is over, no atomic bomb is dropped, no blood sheds. So, generation X, Y's perception towards the world is slightly different to our grandparents. The world is mainly peaceful. Economy is growing faster than the past 20 centuries. The focus of life is shifting from 'stay alive' to 'stay alive differently.'

Australia seem to be a safe place, quiet & pieceful. But then again, it's merely been 60 years or so, since we last been bombed by Japanese. Who knows when Australia soil would be invaded? The last emperor of China, QING DYNASTY lasted astonishing 500 years. So if 20 years feel like forever, imagine what would people believe if they were born, and their parents are born and their grand, grand grand parents are born in the QING DYNASTY.

The perception of the world and life would be ENTIRELY DIFFERENT. SBS is broadcasting about the new clear bomb (nuclear bomb, i.e.) dropped in Japan. Where countless innocent died in Japan, Allies agree it end the war faster, save way more life than those would die if the war continues.

P E A C E - may it be with us, always.
