Initial D

Jay Chou's performance in Initial D is quite impressive. An inspiring movie by the same producer who produced "Infernal affairs" - Well, the movie is good, but I don't think those who race at midnight at Kingsford or the Rocks are quite the same. You love those in the movie, but not quite for those who wake you from your dream 2am in the morning. Isn't it contradictory.

Court Ave - never walked to the other side of Kingsford, outer Kingsford, the other half of Meek St. which ironically being named something else, even though it is the same street. Quiet, sounds from birds filled the space. Warm sun, green grass. I have to say, it changes my perspective about Kingsford. One reason people get depress more in winter vs summer is that the amount of SUNSHINE intake is less in Winter. So expose your eye under natrual sun light for some time in a day can help you reduce stress.

Just came back from Gym + Outer Kingsford walk, feels great. You feel alive in Gym. Most people don't do fitness test. Fit /= Big, Big /= Fit. Say someone is really big, but doesn't mean he is fit. One classical measure methods is to see how fast your body can recover. Young people are more fit than old ones, because their body recover faster.

Say you rev up your heart 185BPM, then for a marathon runner, the heart rate after 3 minutes -> dramatically drop down to 90 BPM, but for me, it still stays high at 120BPM. How fast your body can recover indicates how fit you are.

However, most people don't bother to download a fitness test program, where detailed instruction is given how to test your fitness level in a 15 min session. However, dump proof version is available, there is one I saw on the MX newspaper, states, how fit are you?

Try to run 12 minutes, and see how far you can run.

If you finish (in 12 minutes):

>2.35km - Superior
2.19 - 2.35km - Excellent
? - 2.19 - Good
? - Fair
? - Poor (I forgot)

According to such scheme, I fit into excellent - 2.20 km in 12 minutes. The one I have done in high school which is more accurate - Good that is.

I keep on bumping into Feni's sister and mistakenly it's Feni. Feni works downstairs in E-Commerce. Her sister looks so similar though not twin. TALK ABOUT TWINS, Angela and Anthea - My piano tutor, an architect from UNSW, who just revamped CLB, looks identical to her sister. Once she went to US for exchange, and we met her sister: "You came back so soon." Gee. Parents consider the striking similar appearance, bought 2 Yamaha grand in the same lounge rooms.
