The Wonder of Unicode (UTF-8)

What surprises me is Microsoft's move (MSN Spaces) to adapt Unicode in their upcoming release of MSN Blog (they call it spaces). People who familiar with Hotmail and Yahoo would know that everytime, when you need to read some Korean, Japanese ... etc. emails, you might need to go to encoding and select relevant schemes. and say, if you are composing an Chinese Email in Yahoo under Western European, then after send, it becomes unreadable... (i know many are going to beg to differ)

The beauty of unicode is, you don't need to switch mode. 1 MODE to CONQUEROR them all. GMAIL is the first web email system I used that use Unicode. Handy, paste any language into it, it displays wonderfully. And after Google bought Blogger, Blogger is Unicode too. Now MSN is unicode... It's just neat.
