MOS + MCA: My 1st Time

On a day like this, with sunshine, comfortable weather and work-free. I decided to visit the Bridget Riley exibition in MCA.

I lost track. Mistakenly walk into MOS (Museum of Sydney). But heck, why not. So the visit eventually proven worth while. Creative photographs, and state of art monitors. There is one stand is particularly impressive, 30 inch+ LCD Monitor hang Verticaly to display old newspaper. The size is just sheerly amazing. Each letter is readable. Seeing something bigger than apple cinema display is awesome.

There is a small movie theatre inside shows how opera house is built. With orchestra music and black and white film, the film look more sci-fi than documentary. One of a kind, though I won't say it's a must see. but certainly something different. Believe dearly in what Spielberg said, sound (music and dialogue) worth 70% of a movie.

Find MCA (Museum of Contempory Arts) in circular quay. Big brown building, look so old. How can it be the home of contempory arts? the Bridget Riely exibition is excellent. She's still creating impressive pieces even today. She has those arrogant model looks when she was young. Her pieces are largly focus on human op. Creating illusion that is ingeniously drawn.

a low quality capture from my phone. better ones coming soon (GKW - God Knows When).
