Take the bloody first one.

After YEARS experience catching public transport. I concluded some principles that not only can be applied to transport but also to LIFE. "Take the first one coming to you."

There are numerous scenarios made me realise, that is the way to go.

Scene 1: Imagine you are in Central, waiting for 39x to take you home. (which comes in 20 min say). There are about 3 other buses would come before 39x, 377, 372, ... But you didn't take it, because they don't take you back exactly to where you live. So you see all these buses went before your eyes, you just wait there for the 39x to come. YES, it comes, with 15+ standing passengers, the bus went without stopping. - What does that tell us? You waste time waiting for some special bus, which you think is the BEST one, but you missed out on other buses which could take you to destination earlier.

Don't wait for dream bus, take the first available alternative. Don't wait for the dream job, take the first available alternative (and then eventually, you'll find the right job, after take the first available alternative for 2 months, that's what I did, proven to be the right choice.). Don't wait for your dream girl, take the first available alternative, and you'll find yourself a much happier person.
